Personal statement

I am hard working, enthusiastic, work well under pressure, have a good understanding of the dynamics of team work, I am well disciplined and have excellent listening and communication skills interested in working as a photographer.

Education

2003 – 2005: UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS LONDON
FdA Fashion Styling and Photography.
I studied at this university to increase my understanding of fashion photography, improve my technical skills and also to get specifically in to the fashion industry.

2001 – 2003: KINGSTON COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN
BTEC National Diploma in Photography at Distinction

1999-2001: WIMBLEDON COLLEGE
6 GCSE’s at grade C and above

Work experience

In November 2000 I worked for Portrait Place. I did two weeks at Portrait Place and have learnt how a portrait studio is run on a daily basis and as a going business concern. This helped me to decide that photography was the field I wanted to have a career in.

Employment

In 2001 I did a summer job for three months as a portrait photographer and lab assistant for Snappy Snaps in Tooting

In 2003 I worked as a lab assistant temp for Snappy Snaps in Putney for three months

February 2002-2008
Boots the chemist, as part time Lab technician, duties include: setting up the machines, replacing chemicals, regular checks to make sure machines are in full working order, solving problems under pressure, working under pressure and giving customer best quality photographs, be well presented, well mannered to the customer and make sure that everything is running smoothly.


Worked for snappy studio in London for 3 months where I was manager.
My job involved, every day running of the studio, marketing of the studio, speaking to customers face to face and on the phone, photographing, selling and making sure the customers were and looked after.

2008 April -present
Freelance photographer for various fashion/make-over studios in London.

I use a team on all my shoots, which consists of, Stylist, Hair Stylist, Makeup Artist, Manicurist, Assistant, Model and my self.

Skills

Full UK driving licence
Good technical knowledge of studio flash and tungsten lighting equipment
Good knowledge of Photoshop
Have a Computer Driving Licence
Fluent in Italian.
